Florence + The Machine – “Shake It Out”

Everything I’ve heard from the forthcoming Florence + The Machine album has been fantastic…can’t wait to sit and take in Ceremonials from start to finish. This single was just released the other day and as always, I’m loving the layers of sound and epic vocals:

Florence & The Machine – “Cosmic Love”

I keep hearing this tune lately and I absolutely love it. I’ve come around to Florence and the Machine since I first heard them. I feel like the tunes have an epic feeling about them…sorta reminds me of stuff Bjork does. But Florence has a very different voice. It’s got a classical feel to it. Strong, operatic at times, but not over the top.

Florence + The Machine – “Dog Days Are Over”

I’m back from a quick whirlwind vacation to the left coast, and while I was over there, I heard this song on the radio. When Florence + The Machine first started to get big, I listened to a few songs and I didn’t really love what I heard. But I think I’m being won over after hearing and loving this tune and the  “Addicted to Love” cover. This song has a really rad video too:

Florence and the Machine – “Addicted To Love”

Despite all the buzz surrounding this group, I haven’t loved anything I’ve heard from them… until now. Their cover of Robert Palmer’s classic, “Addicted To Love” was featured on one of my favorite TV programs the other night. I really really like the pacing of this version and the stripped down intro. It’s wonderfully dramatic! Check it out:
