Home is where the 😴 isI’m so beyond grateful for the generous photographers in our community who come and lend their amazing eyes to our dress rehearsals and performances 😍 Thank you to Patty McEvoy for capturing these shots and with them, the magic of CHICAGO✨🎩💥💋🔥✨The two productions I was a part of have both wrapped and it’s a very strange mix of emotions for me. For the past 3 months I’ve had rehearsals up to 5 days a week. Not only is rehearsal a great place to escape reality but it’s also very social. The two groups of people I got to spend time with and create with were really top notch, and it’s rough to know that I won’t see many of them for the foreseeable future 💔 Now it’s back to reality and the piles of laundry I’ve neglected 😩 Things I won’t miss: the drive to and from rehearsal, the aches and pains from all the dancing, and wearing a full face of makeup 🤪 #musicaltheatre #musicaltheater #musicaltheatrelife #communitytheatre #communitytheaterI have been so good with avoiding sweets for the last month or so, but this here devil cookie got me today... well, 3 of em did! 💕🤪 thanks @misslonalisaHeading to #MV real quickThe past few weeks have included more hours of dancing than I ever imagined I could execute, and I’m so proud of myself for rising to the challenge. It’s been a whirlwind of incredible music and connections, with some of the most passionate people I’ve ever met... and best of all, I was able to share it with my dad, without whom I would not be in this industry in the first place. It’s always sad when these things end, but I know I’ll be thinking about this music, these important conversations, these magical moments, for a long long time. Grateful. #folkalliance
