When I mention Andrew Bird to people, very few are familiar with his music and I think that’s a damn shame. For those of us who have had the pleasure of seeing him live or diving into his catalog, it’s clear that he’s an incredibly talented musician whose sound merges classical, jazz and folk in ways that I can pretty much guarantee you’ve never heard before.
