“Breakers”
I was so happy to hear about a new Local Natives album and I’m anticipating its release at the end of January. This single is everything I want it to be – it’s got the heavy percussion and layered, repetitive vocal harmonies that I know and love about this band but also with a fresh edge that hints at a progression in their sound. And the music video, like most anything visual this band puts out there, is strange, provocative, and beautiful. The new album Hummingbird comes out 1/28.
