Red Hot Chili Peppers – “Brendan’s Death Song”
It’s so nice to hear some new stuff from RHCP, and I’m pleasantly surprised with how much I’m enjoying their new album, I’m With You. I’ve heard members of the band say they’re a new band now, with John Fruciante leaving and guitarist Josh Klinghoffer taking his place. There are some tracks on the album I like more than others…with #3, “Brendan’s Death Song” being my standout favorite. The words of this song are incredibly heavy and sad, but the music is so gorgeous and uplifting.
