Typhoon – “The Sickness Unto Death”/”The Honest Truth”
This 16-member Portland-based collaborative will hit the stage at Newport Folk this summer, and after checking out some of their music, I’m really looking forward to it! They’ve got an experimental pop sound that’s super engaging and I also really appreciate the thoughtful lyrics and sometimes tender moments in their tunes.
