The Civil Wars – “I Want You Back”
Well, I’m simply thrilled with my experience on the morning shift this week for many reasons. One of them stems from our Live, Acoustic and Cover tunes feature… where the morning jock seeks out alternate versions of songs and spins them at 8:20am on weekdays (a second set is featured at 5:20pm as well). In the 4 days I filled in, I found some real gems, including this hidden track from The Civil Wars… I’ve never heard “I Want You Back” done quite like this. They really give the words a sweet sweet sentiment.
