Looking Back: Best Of 2007

As I make the final changes to my Best Of 2010 list, I’m thinking back to the past few years and remembering what releases really shaped my musical world. I started this blog in the Spring of 2008, while I was beginning the search that would lead me to the radio job I have now. My very first post on pH balanced was a list of my favorite albums from the previous year. 2007 was when I really started to fully dive into music and radio at WERS, and these were my personal Top 10 albums of that year.

1. THE SHINS – Wincing The Night Away
2. BAND OF HORSES – Cease To Begin
3. IRON & WINE – The Shepherd’s Dog
4. JOHN VANDERSLICE – Emerald City
5. MATT POND PA – Last Light
6. FEIST – The Reminder
7. JOSH RITTER – The Historical Conquests of Josh Ritter
8. THE NATIONAL – Boxer
9. DR. DOG – We All Belong
10. RADIOHEAD – In Rainbows

I’ll be posting my favorites from 2008, 2009, and finally 2010 in the next few days.
