The Local Natives – “Airplanes”
I’ve been loving everything I hear and see from this band. Today I saw a pretty hilarious video of theirs… and when checking out more on YouTube, I found this song and video. Some of their stuff is fun, some funny, some strange… and this is just beautiful. The song and video really get deep… I’ve definitely been moved by this band again in a totally different way:

The Local Natives – “World News”
A friend told me to check out this band a month or so ago and then I recognized the name when I saw that Daytrotter recently posted a live show of theirs from 2009. So I finally got around to checking them out tonight and WOW! These guys are so unique… I enjoyed myself immsensely just checking out their website, MySpace page and blog! And then the music… it’s one of a kind as well. Just check out this tune “World News” along with its strange yet amazing video:
