Band Of Horses – “Factory”
I’ve talked about the lyrics to this song before…this first line seems like such a perfect way to start an album: “The elevator in the hotel lobby has a lazy door… the man inside it is going to a hotel room”. I’ve been listening to the newest BoH album a lot lately, and this track’s lyrics in particular are just so mysterious and sad, really setting a mood.
I love this line in particular:
“Now and later I was thinking it over by the snack machine
I thought about you and a candy bar.”
